Nickolas was born in 1989 to two professional ballet dancers. He
lived in a dance studio for the first year of his life before
embarking on a series of annual translocations throughout North
Carolina and Virginia, culminating in a 3 year residence on a sailboat
on the Gulf Coast of Florida. It is to these early years that Nickolas
attributes his love of travel and his peculiar disdain for the
orthodox. With a background in theatre and yoga, Nickolas began
performing at the North Carolina Renaissance Faire, where he met
Jeffrey Fowler. Nickolas learned to juggle... one thing lead to another... and the
next thing he knew he was taking up pastimes like firebreathing and
balancing people on his feet. Nickolas is currently a Sophomore at
UNC-Greensboro, studying Dance.
A resident of NC his entire life, Jeffrey Fowler first started
juggling when he visited the North Carolina Renaissance Faire. He
taught himself to juggle the weekend before the event so that he would
be able to play with the jugglers. For the next three years, he
attended the NC State Juggling club, practicing his hobby while
putting the majority of his attention in the realm of academics, particularly Math and Science. Once he realized the possibilities that juggling lay before him,
he started performing solo at birthday parties, malls, and other
re-enactment-event-type things. A year later, he met Nick Fields at
the same North Carolina Renaissance Faire and encouraged him to begin juggling. They
quickly joined forces and started presenting juggling shows under the banner of Exentrik. Jeffrey is
currently a Sophomore at NCSU, doubling in Math and Physics.
